How can I find a great project?
● A great website to check out is sciencebuddies.org
● Be sure to download the “Scientist Packet” to help you organize your project.
● The Griffin Library has a number of books with ideas for science fair projects.
● Do an online search. Enter “science fair” into your search engine and see what comes up!
Can my parents help? Yes, by all means! Your parents can help you select your topic, help build your display, help gather materials, and help figure out ways to organize things, but your parents should not do your science and engineering thinking or complete your project for you. The Scientist Packet includes a list of things your parents can do to help you! If you use a classroom-required project for your Science Fair entry, follow your teacher’s guidelines about parent help.
